**AMP/DAC for he400** - Page 3

Forgive my ignorance, as I'm very new to all this, but I thought the Woo WA6 was a OTC amp.  The reason I'm pointing this out is that I was actually considering the WA6 as a purchase for the HE-400's. Is this a bad idea?

You are correct yes.  WA6 is TC and WA3 is OTL.

I know you want a dac/amp combo however you can consider musiland 02 us as dac which is quite nice as far as ive read around the forum, its about $120 which leaves you around $200 for a more decent amp

I'm also in need of an amp for the HE-400. I would pay up to 250 euros, and it has to be available within the EU. Can I get any suggestions? I've been thinking about the Matrix M-stage as it has output which i would use for my Pioneer stereo amp, but I'm afraid that the M-stage is too warm sounding.
