The appreciation thread has lots of people who love the D7100s, over there they can go nuts over them all they want.

For what these cost, they're dreadful.

Thanks for your input Magick Man.  But the title does not really say anything about this being the place to bash the D7100 either.

The first page is rather detailed regarding our disappointment, and it goes on from there. We made a deal not to post negatives in the appreciation thread and contain them in here, but in this one we're calling it like we hear it. Anyone can feel free to post what they like (of course), within the forum rules, but there's a good chance someone will counter them with experiences and graphs.

Again, I don't want to keep anyone from posting, there are simply some of us who feel that these cans deserve some type of PSA or warning label, etc..

Every cans should have that label dont you think?
I didn't think im gonna buy another headphones but when i hear D7100 i new i have to get them.

Referring to my previous input:
When i burned in D5000 i went to Denons HiFi shop to make side by side comparison and the difference was huge taking into account that it is the same handset. How about that? Still placebo? Most of studio recordings burn-in they equipment. Not every speaker/headphones is changeing during the burn-in process. My HD650 did not have any obvious changes after burn-in.

When i see youre number of posts im starting to think that you just like talking about headphones not listen to the music :)
Thats all from me folks :)

Petulance is not a good way to make your case.

Good for you, I suppose.

Yep. Expectation bias is a very strong influence (I don't use the term "placebo" as it really doesn't apply in this instance).

All Headphones in general suck.  Frankly if you want to really enjoy your music go and get a good pair of speakers, amp, and a turntable.

I heard it on a darkstar amp when it was first launched....
Didn't think it was in the BAD category.
More to NOT BAD.
Then the steamrolling criticism came in...
I went to audition it again, on my handphone,
Yup...flabby bass, n not loud enough.

With tat said, Denon pls lower the price....U heard me??!
Pleeeeeeease...I want one!!

I know what i hear so dont negative that unless you are a god. By the way: I wonder if youre profile is a show off or a fiction? One worse than the other.

You "hear what you hear", and like anyone else, that's part of the problem. Expectation bias can be more powerful than any amplifier.

Now you're going to attack me and my lifestyle? A word of warning, that's attacking me on a personal level and could get you banned.

Thats all from me folks :)

I suppose you changed your mind?

Magick Man sometimes I also wonder looking at your profile what you are doing here with mere mortals. Shouldn't you be on your yacht somewhere in the middle of the ocean relaxing. Or may on a private island. Why waste your time answering pointless threads full of junior members who dont fall in line
