Str8 2 the point.
 
I've been following this website and anythingbutipod forums, to help me with a new Mp3/4/DAP player. (for like half a year now)
 
Honestly if I did not notice the newly release of the sony Nwz-Z series, I would've bought the NWA-A series probably 16 GB and it would've been a disaster (considering it does not play FLAC) or even has a downloadable player which plays FLAC.
 
anyways, even following the Las Vegas "Gadget" show, specifacally for the Z-1000 I felt exciting about that one, however the more information I dug up, the less Exciting I got.
For example, no sd slots so your just stuck with the Flash memory, and that it doesn't play ALOT of audio formats...FLAC especially.
 
This (I hoped) could be solved by Android (as said by several other persons) by downloading.. Poweramp, and software as such.
It does not matter that it doesn't have a cam, phone or other feats like that, as I go purely for Music, (and leaning towards video 4 anime)
 
Now I know (after reading lots of threads) that if you go for Audio only there are lots of cheaper ones with decent features still.
its just the Pure SQ of the sony that got my attention...and a  bit of android as I never had an android gadget or phone.
 
then, there is Cowon. J3 especially.
I'm guessing it's J3 for Audio + its slim size to really be portable+external memory
VS
the Sony Walkman Z1050 16 GB for Really good audio + android for ? apps, which I don't think I would use much.
 
I believe that my question to you all is , which one should I buy?
I can get the the J3 for 200 euros, however then I still need to buy good earphones, Which in the end will stack it up against the Z1050 which I can get for 236 euros.
 
both are 16 gb, one has an SD slot the other does not.
Sony has android, which I believe will let me have some fun with in the future (but If I wanna buy it for that only...idk)
 
Also there is the size of the Z1050, which kinda freakd me out, I drawed lines out with the dimensions of the official websites, and I must admit, I thought the Z1050 was Way larger than a 10 euro bill, but it isn't .
 
Summary: I like the J3 because of it's format support, audio quality and slim size which in my H opinion is more practical?
However, I must admit falling in love with the Z1050 after I saw 1 pic of it.
the Pros for me from the Z1050 would be 1. SQ duh 2.Android 3. lol and touch which I also never had
the BIG Cons tho are limited space on it and I do not know how many space apps like Poweramp take up...that Next to my Flac files would make the Z not A Logical choice.
 
Also the games on the Z1050, doesn't really attract me, and would be a waste of space imho.
If anyone knows, the G sensor thing for games,...can it be used for something differently or not?
Last thing about the Z, If I do not have Wifi, which one would be best for me in the end.
Z1050 or J3?
 
And finally, it's kinda beefy, which is a disadvantage for me whilst riding a bike, jogging and such ( BUT ITS SO AWESOME ) 
 
Thanks to everyone who helped me during these music-less, frustrating few months, its been really annoying not able to listen to music whilst travelling, lol you don't know who I'm talking about but they know xD
 
Also the only Con the J3 has for me is it's pricing, I can get the 16 GB version for 200!!!!euros (its a damn lot)
whilst the 16 GB version of the sony is 236 euros. this and the fact that is pretty big to be "just" a musicplayer makes me doubt alot.
 
In the End. I want the best Audio (in a device not headph) Playing Flac Files, and possibly some videos MKv if possible.

Nvr mind people, I found a deal on the J3 16 GB for 160 Euros, which comparing to other prices is a bargain. Still tho, Imma save up money now just for the Sony Z1000 and hopefully the white one, but that will have to wait a while,
