I may also be able to join if I don't have to work during that weekend. Please keep me informed!

Oh yeah, if I can join, I may be able to bring Pioneer Elite DV-45A (SACD/DVD-A) player, Corda Headphone amp, Yamaha Cavit DP-U50 external sound card/DAC/DSP processor, Sony CD3000/V6 and Senn HD650.

I can't make it the last two weekends in April, or the first weekend in May. Other than that, with some notice, I'll be there. I've already got some other folks threatening to come too.

I can make it. My entire April is open at the moment. Most of May too. I only have a Headroom Home and 580s, but I can bring a ton of sources (as many as I can fit in my car.) I can take requests on anything Wadia has ever made or currently makes. I might have some cool protos available by then too. I also have quite a few universal players: Esoteric UX-1, Denon 5900, Pioneer DV-47A, and a Linn unidisc. The universals will depend on how disassembled they are come meet time.

I am definitely there, but alas I am a beginner. I have my iMP-350 and HD497s to offer, and if I get it done by then (unlikely), some sort of portable amp. I will be shopping for new cans at that point though, so getting a chance to audition some gear would be very nice!

Cool -- any headphone gear is good!

I'm still trying to get my folks to let me host it... mom's against, dad's for. Argh, typical. Anyway, if that doesn't work, I'm going to call around and see if any local businesses or rec halls would host the meet.

Oh, and I'll have the Behringer DEQ 2496 by the meet, too

I might suggest a clubhouse at someone's apartment complex. Just a thought....

I believe it's that new "rise of confidence" from deep within, a "bigger, firmer, longer lasting...

sense of assurance"

Okay, some good news, and some bad news...

Good news is, I now have a Behringer DEQ 2496, Carlo-modded Sugden, and Earmax Pro for any meets. (yay - EMP!)

Bad news: my dad has to get eye surgery on my birthday, which happens to be around when I was thinking of having a meet. If anybody has suggestions of where we could meet, etc., please pitch in (BTW, the clubhouse idea is very viable, I'll make some calls).

Any further discussion about a date? I'd suggest something in Mid-May, as the Chicago folks are having one in late April. Just my $0.02....
