There is a two day gathering at the Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel by the Southeast Michigan Audio Club. There are going to be exhibit rooms to check out different systems and set ups. It costs $20 for a two day pass, info at www.akfest.com and its possible to reserve a room/table to set up equipment.

I'm going and it would be cool to see some headphone systems there.

Sub'd since i'm in novi but 20 bucks for a pass is kind of steep. Also it takes place right around finals time....

I've attended this event before and the $20 fee is not unreasonable IMHO. It takes place over several floors of a nice hotel with nice amenities. There are typically a LOT of folks there, and manufacturers too. That's just my opinion as someone who has been there.
