I just purchased a FiiO E11 and I'm not sure how I should set the voltage switch that's under the battery. The instructions or anything I have found on the Internet isn't much help.  Every review mentions it, but no one explains what it does. I'm using UE Triplefi 10 headphones if that helps.  So do I set it high or low?

Low power mode reduces the supply voltage to the opamp. By reducing the voltage, it reduces the over performance as well - but you will get better battery life. This is useful if your headphone isn't particularly demanding and you want better battery life.

What about it not working on high power? I have an E11 and it only works on low power, high power it just shuts down the moment I turn it on. I'm so use to listening it on high power and it bothers me listening on low power. Even after it is charged it won't stay on when on high power

Seems like some kind of ground short. You might need to send it back for repair.

I own this amp also, but have yet to use it. Charging battery now and was wondering also about that switch? Is there a big difference in sonics either way?! Guess it all depends on the phones attached?
