Budget Phones opinions/comparisons

I would like to hear comparisons between a highly rated budget phones and some higher ends as well.

ANASONIC RP-HTF600 - seem to be really good

Cresyn CS-HP600 - similarly priced but i dont think that many ppl have these

Numark PHX Pro - a bit pricier

M-audio Q40 - seems like a solid performer

In general i do like my bass but am beginning to crave that clarity. Would love to hear people who have had experience with them, or other contenders that could be added.

Thanks

Do you live near a Guitar Center? If so, you should listen to a few headphones. Try the Sony 7506, the VMode crossfade LP, Audio Technica ATH-M50, Shure SRH440, Sony ZX700. These are around $80-140. These vary quite a bit in sound, with some being bassier than others. These are very popular.

If you want less expensive headphones, you might want to consider the Samson SR850, Panasonic RP-HTF600, and  JVC HARX700, which are under $50. I don't know where you can listen to these.

Samson SR850 are too clean a sound from what i gather... maybe someone has heard both the ANASONIC RP-HTF600 and the Cresyn CS-HP600?

and no guitar center, but those are pricier ones which listed for comparisons.

Thanks

"maybe someone has heard both the ANASONIC RP-HTF600"

There are many threads here about the PANASONIC RP-HTF600. Also many about the JVC HARX700. These are under $35 on Amazon.

... but since you mentioned the harx700 i am now interested in hearing how they compare to the panasonic HTF600.
