I saw your original post and was wondering what the solution was?

 

I'm also a Little Dot MK III newbie, and am just curious what you ran into.

well first there was a big humming noise, and it turns out it was somehow related to the top right screw on the front of the machine. it was just a tad bit untaught. if you touch the screw and ground the machine with your body the humming noise will go away.

 

also the gain setting was incorrect for my headphones, u can change that with the red and white switches at the bottom of the machine.
