V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

Just got a reply from v-moda service.
 
I can confirm that ordering two different shield designs is fine with them, as long as the colors are the same for both shields.
 
  1. Simply check "Yes" for the "5a. Your Design" option.
  2. Do not attempt to upload any art, as it only accepts one file, and rar/7zip files are not accepted.
  3. Once order is complete, send the concierge support a message through V-Moda's web form, explaining that you would like to use two logos rather than one. Include your order number.
  4. Once they reply, they should give you the email for the "Customs Department", simply send your art along with your order number to that email, and you should be fine. They will already have your shield color from your order you placed earlier.
 
Hopefully this guide helps those wanting to do this, as I've gotten a few PM's about it already.

I just asked V-MODA customer care about whether the VTF-100 is ppu or not, and here's the response I got:

You've no doubt been flooded with questions about the M-100 release, but I wonder if you could tell me whether the VTF-100 up for pre-order is the PPU Val has been talking about, or the actual production M-100? I just ordered one, and I was really hoping to get the PPU. If the PPU will be released later, then I would prefer to wait for that one.

We do not know that information. At this time all we can suggest is contacting Val on HeadFi and asking him directly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

As someone had mentioned earlier, Val had indeed say that he might name the m-100 PPUs as VTF-100.  Here's a quote of his post I found:

I'm pretty sure that these are the PPUs beyond a doubt.  He said that they would be $310 and that's how much they cost - there's no way he'd go and release the MPUs with the name he said he'd give the PPUs and with the price too.  The MPUs will be either $299 or $300.
 
Anyway, I sent them an email about maybe changing the secondary shield colours and possibly sending in art for the design later...hopefully they can do that for me.

Got word from v moda that they would start shipping in mid September probably and ppu was mentioned. Btw any other reason we are paying a premium. Other than getting it earlier. I mean can anyone list the benefits of making the preorder for ppu units rather than waiting a while more when things get more firmed or paying the normal price later like everyone else ?

If you got custom engraved shields, you're getting them at a massive discount.

Pretty sure that means the MPU is being released mid September. Even if we wait 2 weeks from today, it would be sent out within august.
 
I'm just stupid hopeful at this point.

 I sure hope so. I don't want to end up not being able to change the shipping address when the order is finalized. Don't feel like driving 3 hours just to get them from back home. I paid money for faster shipping too D: We seriously need a word from Val.
