You're not the only one. This is why I didn't want to bother with the Stock player, I knew I was gonna find a lot of problems and get aggravated lol and here I am. To be honest the Music UI is completely dumb. Now if I want to access my music via the directory I should have no problems doing so, it should be my choice. I like to have organization and my way of doing so is to access through the directory. Now if all files have finished playing from the directory folder chosen then it should just stop playing music unless you have loop on (in which is should loop in that same folder). It should not be jumping back to the other music section and continue playing music, or even skipping from the directory to a completely different song. I had complained to ibasso regarding this initially and they did not fix this. Power Amp doesn't exhibit any of the problems the Stock Player is exhibiting and I feel ibasso really needs to look into this player and learn how to improve their own UI. Hopefully ice-cream does come out for the DX100 so we can just use 24/192 playback on the Power Amp player and be done with this mess.

I am using iSyncr to syn with my iTunes playlists.   Works flawlessly and it appear under playlist in the default Music Player.    Really enjoying mine so far.  Cheers.

I may have to give the playlists a try. But I hate having to go that extra mile lol. I think I'm gonna stick with the Power Amp player. Its just a lot more responsive and user friendly. Plus with all my album art showing up it looks real nice and puts a big smile on my face.

Hi lee730, maybe coming from using studio V I have learn to manage my expectations on the UI.   Ability to use iSyncr and enjoy my iTunes genius playlist is a bonus i did not expect, not mentioning the great sound.    Using iSyncr Wifi, I am able to do background syn while I enjoy the music so it is really no hassle at all.    I have yet to use the power amp player but I do agree with you the lack of album art does spoil the experience a bit.   I guess nothing is perfect.

If you want cover art just down load the

"cover art downloader" app.

It will get all the cover art you need.......this was all mentioned a few pages back

I have a Studio V myself and while its UI isn't great, I honestly find it better than the Stock DX100 player when it comes to ease of use for accessing your music. Its not as fussy either when you use the Resource menu to access music, kinda like how I was trying to use directory on the DX100. Now when I use Poweramp though I find it to be better than the Studio Vs interface although the V is still very easy to use. It has a few quirks that Jack needs to fix via firmware and it would be perfect.

I know you are talking about the playlist function to fix this, I'll have to give this a try but I'll have to go through the trouble of tagging my music library into playlists which will take a bit of time. As of now I have found issues with the DX100 player especially regarding 24/96 playback. Looking forward to ibasso fixing the above issues (crossing my fingers) and the clunkiness. If Power Amp can run smoothly I see no reason why the Stock Player can't achieve this.

Anyways how do you like your DX100 compared to your Studio V? I still think the Studio V puts up a good fights for its price.

Hi lee730, i think the studio V do put up a good fight for iems but when I use LCD-2 with DX100, it is obviously the much better player.    For hi-res files, the DX100 really shine and all the music i downloaded from HDtracks do sound really good and studio v does not really differentiate hires files as well.    For the price difference I think studio v does seems very good value for money, and not forgetting the battery life of Studio V is one of its very big strength.

I'd of never of got through all these problems with my lack of IT knowledge, I'd of thrown the thing straight back to the manufacturer and said 'for £525 I want something to work properly'..... I am so glad I held back and waited, for serious money you expect things to work & not to be treated as some outsourced bug fixer that pays for the pleasure of fixing new equipment that you expect to work..... sod that malarkey.

I'm seriously disappointed with the reviews as I really wanted one and for that reason (& the obvious others), think I'd rather invest in some new Cans.

If you believe it is not worth it and that you can get as good of a sound from one device then best go follow what you believe. Maybe you know or maybe you do not know either way you believe what you believe. I believe and I know that the DX100 sounds very very good, it is the best single audio player money can buy for top quality audio. Can it be improved yeah but maybe you will have to wait for another brand or the next model (The 2013 Model).
