Has anyone else had these problems? My 1/4" jack feels loose. I just used it for the first time with new grados and any movement causes a crackle. Also my charging jack has shifted or become loose. I have to pull the plug forward and wrap the cable around the player to get it to charge. It's a second batch unit and I'm the original owner.

On charging, obviously something could be/is loose. That would need a return to iBasso unless you are handy at soldering. On the second, my 1/4 jack has some movement but works fine. I would clean the plug with some alcohol and while still wet with alcohol, insert it a few times into the jack to clean everything. Then see how it works.

The 1/4" cleaning is probably due. I have a dog that sheds a lot and her hair tends to get into everything (even though I'm a really OCD clean person). As for the soldering.... Think I'll order a dx50 and once it arrives I'll send the dx100 back to iBasso for repair. Hope it doesn't cost too much. Thanks

I love the DX50 with the latest firmware. The DX100 is in a league of its own but I truly enjoy the 50 and the size makes for all the more fun.

I ordered the Heir 8.a's last week and an thinking really hard about getting the JH Roxanne's in a few weeks. I think they will be a good compliment to one another through both DAPs.

I would imagine they will destroy most IEM's. Crazy IEM's, 12 drivers. . . wow. . I am looking forward to impressions.

Did you find any good external battery's? iam looking for the same thing

I've been using the Anker battery. It works very well with the DX100:

Can you tell me what dc or usb tip in your anker accessories pack fits the dx100 please?
I have a power gorilla power pack unfortunately none of mine are the right size

Ibasso responded to my email concerning the charging issue. They said no charge except for the shipping to repair it. Great customer service. This is why I follow every product they make. That, and they sound pretty incredible.

On the topic of charging the DX100, if anyone in the UK needs a spare charger, I'm selling an as-new one in the classifieds. Only been used less than 10 times.

When I bought my DX100, last year, I ordered 2 chargers. I then sold the DX100, including it's charger, but had one left over at my place of work, which I found last week.

They offer free service for 10 years or something like that. I just sent mine in to fix the charging point. The only thing that sucks is shipping the thing to china costs nearly $20 a trip.

It cost me $60 to send it from here, but it's worth to keep my DX100 in good shape! They offer a really good service and are always very polite and responsive. I think the DX100 was the best thing I ever bought.

I've had charging problems with my replacement DX100. It would act all funny, and sometimes when I put the charger in, it immediately drains the battery to NOTHING. I have a multi tap charger that I stick in and it "wakes" it up to charge again.

Once I get settled at my new place I'm going to send it back to China to get fixed. Other than that the thing has been my home go-to player after work. It IS in a league of it's own...after it comes the RWAK100 with Tralucent T1, and after that the DX50 with Tralucent T1.

For work I've been using the RWAK/T1 combo because of it's slightly smaller footprint.

Depends on where you live and which service you use. I went with the cheaper service through usps. I would never ship through fedex or ups (if they even offer international shipping). Ive shipped packages through usps hundreds of times, and have had maybe 3 problems. I swear I have constant delays and troubles through the other 2, and their pricing is outrageous if your not par of a business account.

Does your charging port wobble at all? When mine was dropped the port was wobbling, and I had to push it correctly for it to make proper contact to charge. Otherwise it kinda sounds like a short somewhere, but I know absolutely nothing when it comes to electronics.

I was just curious do you only own 3 audiophile daps, or do you own more and those are your favorite? My brother was looking into the DX50, and was going to sell his ipod touch/fiio e17 rig to buy one. However I have not done too much researching into it yet. Does it have a similar sound sig to the DX100 despite different DAC chip? Also for those who own both at the moment does the DX50 also have its UI quirks like the DX100? Or is the DX50 current FW pretty solid?

Ibasso has definitely earned me as a customer after creating such a great sounding and so far solid customer service. I just want to know that DX50 are following the same qualities except in a cheaper slightly less awesome package.
