Hey guys, I'm back with another predicament involving a decision to be made. I'm having trouble deciding between purchasing a pair of MTPC's for $150 and getting the M50 Limited Edition's.... The M50 is a pretty nice pair of headphones (besides comfort sometimes... leather does not do too well on my ears), and the added aesthetic value of the Limited Editions make it even more appealing. However, at such a low price, the MTPC's are quite attractive as well.

I have a pair of MMDT's right now, which I dropped. I'm considering selling it to my cousin for about a $70 profit (heheheh :D), so I don't know whether I should get the MTPC's or not. I'm also considering getting a pair of a more portable headphone compared to my T50RP's and HD 555's, so that's why I'm even considering the M50's in the first place... the LE's that will be coming out soon are just an added bonus (but for an added premium as well).

So basically... should I get the MTPC and see whether I like the MMDT's better than it, or should I just sell my MMDT and then buy the M50 LE's? Because I'll definitely have enough money for the M50's if I do sell my MMDT's, since I have over $70 in Amazon gift cards I got for free.

Or should I just get a completely different pair of either IEM's or full sized headphones overall? Thanks guys!

LE M50s? Link?

Basic differences between the MTPC and the MMDT is that the Coppers have a much wider soundstage, less forward mids, and a less bassy presentation. They're still bassy though. Does that sound like something you'd like?

That would be great for me, as I personally feel like the MMDT's soundstage is quite small. Also, it sounds really laid back and smooth sometimes, which I don't really like. It doesn't really make the music that enticing, and it's mostly only really excels in electronic music (with bass of course). It really sucks at punk rock too (with multiple instruments)..... yep.

So, the MTPC seems like it would be a bit better suited for the type of music I listen to more often, as it is said to have more treble, and is hopefully not as laid back as the MMDT's.

Also, M50 LE's:

They're not out yet, as they are coming out at the end of the month.
