They were in my jacket pocket, and I totally forgot about them.
Put the jacket on extra long wash cycle (hot water).
Took the jacket out and still hadn't realized that my CK-10s were in the pocket. So I dried the jacket in the dryer for an hour.
Only after the dry cycle was completely done did I realize my oversight, shall we say.
I was surprisingly calm despite realizing the horror.  CK-10 R.I.P.
I tried them on and simply nodded in quiet agreement when no sound came out of the Right side. D.O.A.
I was surprised that the left side, though, was still functioning fine.  After all, I had just washed these little guys for 45 minutes and then baked them for an hour.
I began devising my Ebay plan to recoup some loss. Someone always buys broken IEMs for some reason.
Went home for the holidays, and just now said what the heck and gave my CK10s another shot.
To my surprise, the right side is back to normal.
The sound is completely back to normal 100%, and my CK10s are also now very clean (and fragrant).
Patient made a full recovery.  I believe in miracles.

This experience does nothing to dissuade my preference towards Japanese products.
Great job, Audio Technica.  These are definitely my gold standard for IEM build quality.
