I don't trust anyone except reputable dealers cause they might sell fake stuff and I dont know a thing about headphones so I wouldn't be able to tell whats real and fake

You're more likely to find a fake on a slightly less than reputable Amazon/eBay seller than you are on the forum.

yea, no way you can fake the marksmanship of these headphones.

I read somewhere that ppl say they thought they might have a fake one.  Anyways back to my question how often do they have sales on amazon?  And im very tempted to upgrade from my crappy klipsch image ones, is $352 an ok price for the 650s?

$350 is already low enough,, highly doubt you'll find them cheaper unless they're used or you wait until 2013-2014.

I bought HD650 half a year ago at amazon, it was 430 at that time, but the price has been going down fast, now it's around 350 for a couple of days.

I think it's a good price for that, or you can always buy it cheaper at For Sale Forum. I suggest the second, because a well maintain HD650 is as good as a brand new one, if not better, since the owner has done the breaking in for you.

I bought mine for $350 from J&R in 2009 and thought that was a great price for them.

Why are you looking at the 650's?

Im buying them cause of the reviews and also I've been listening to a lot of music lately from my ipod touch and also I've been downloading and watching a lot of music videos on my computer so I said screw it if Im listening to this much music I might as well listen to them the right way by getting a super good headphone.  Never had a headphone of the 650s quality, the best ones Ive ever owned is the klipsch image one which i got from best buy due to reviews that was like a year or two ago.  Is the e7/e9 combo good enough?

It's pretty good as an entry level setup. I would still get an Audio GD NFB-12 though for the same money, WM8741 DAC inside the NFB-12

 (same as Arcam rDAC)

e7 e9 combo is good for hd 650 but there are better options.

Maybe the price is that high cause they got one left according to the thing under "in stock"?  I hope that is the reason why and I hope it will return to normal price once they get more.  Or I think Amazon knew I was gonna buy it soon so they raised the price on my ass just to piss me off.
