Cardas Clear

Haven't seen the Cardas Clear headphone cable mentioned yet

Its pretty much the same as all other headphone cables. Just think of it, (lets just say) one inch of wire on each side and than after the y-splitter is groups together to two inches.

I'm guessing you don't think cables make a difference.  Just have to let your ears be the judge.

Not at all. I do personally think with the proper setup, you can hear a difference in cables. Depending on the price is another matter. I was just speaking as far as building cables, the building of cables is universally the same. As shown in the picture, its theoretically the same on all cables.

Better than I thought. Nice looking add on to a HD800 that you really like.  There is not much in the $2k range that you can trade up to other than the LCD-3, and looking at the thread in the high-end forum, I would be waiting a bit for the quality control issues to be settled before buying those.
