hi,
i was wondering what's the best setting for for the optical output of a dvd player to a bel canto dac2. those who have a bel canto know it can upsample DAD disc also. what should be my settings for the best sound quality? right now i'm using a panasonic dvd-rp62 since my philips 963 is gone for repairs. the options for digital output is
PCM downconversion Yes or NO

Dolby Digital and DTS

bitstream

pcm

off

what should i set the option to when listening to DAD's? should i use a diffrent setting when listening to redbook cd's? thanks for any help on the matter.
