I have a new set of Chord Chorus cables. The cable are quite stiff and if you bend them they stay in that position, almost like bending a very soft metal.

My question is this. I have very little room behind my amp and I therefore need to bend the cable about an inch from the RCA connectors so that it will fit between the amp and the back wall. Does anyone who owns the Chorus know if this is OK or will I be risking damaging the internals of the cable?

Thanks.

I own the Chord Chorus. I got mine a few years ago and this was my first forray into hi-end cables. It's a really excellent cable.

I would have thought that moulding it into shape to fit your rack should be ok as long as you don't physically kink it. It's quite a stiff cable so i'd be very gently with.
