Damn! that's hardcore!
I always do my maths HW over a few days.

Well I'm usually busy in the evenings on weekdays, so that leaves weekends only pretty much. And since this ain't the only assignment I have to do, I had to go all out and finish it in one sitting.
Time passes rather quickly when you do too. I mean, I was busy the entire time and suddenly it's 10 hours later. It's odd.

Lol
None of them have watched Free! yet. XD

Oh dang, I forgot today was Korra day. >.>

There were actually a lot of votes for Free! on the poll of what to watch. I may not show up if they start showing that... >.>

Oh really?

I prefer to watch anime by myself anyway. I don't need to be surrounded by guys critiquing how ridiculous the fan-service is.

Lololol, nobody was really critiquing any of the shows we watched (except me), rather we were all laughing our arses off at all the funny parts of last night's anime. I don't even really like the way they only show 1 episode of a given show per week, but the people are just so gosh darned awesome I will probably end up joining anyway.

Well. Ima wait for mechys descision on kino no tabo

Aww... :3
It might be a while before I finish it though.

Who here hates the new Steam controller? I don't, and actually am cautiously optimistic for it. As long as it's close to the same size as the Xbox 360 pad, then I'm way on board the steam train.

Hmmm it doesn't really look that ergonomic.
And right now, I'm a bit skeptic if this thing is any good for something like a Beat'm Up or anything that does not use two analog-sticks.

Been working 10 hours straight on the same math assignment. Finally done now. Heck I'm tired now.

Wow. They would need to put me in a straightjacket after such a mental torture.

I kinda was. I quickly calmed down, though when I realised Valve doesn't want it to be the default controls (like pads are on consoles), but more of a "good enough" replacement for mouse and keyboard in places where they aren't comfortable to use, like on the couch.
Frankly, this isn't for me - I'm nowhere a "comfy couch gamer" and I prefer actual mouse and keyboard in almost every game. However, as a tech thing it's pretty interesting. Especially how the touchpad with that haptic feedback thing will feel. We'll see how it's gonna end up.

Finished Ergo Proxy.
I liked it! Expecially the atmosphere. A few lame episodes and a few very good ones.
The ending was...pretty okay.

Watched the first Ghost in the Shell: Arise OVA
Typical GitS stuff. Really nice story!

OMG WHAT

oh wait I'm already jerry riggin my wii U to work with my pc. Just need to spend a day configureing the drivers, then implenting the Xbox 360 Emulation to it

gonna take for ever but cheaper than a steam controller, and the Wii U controller is sexy [I mean the actual controller not the game pad]

also He 400 are in... hate the stock cable so glad I got another one

Love the Sound, they are indeed an upgrade to my EDM dt 990 <3

Also watched episode 4 of Korra...

Aww year Civil war, Unulock is such a two faced char, so glad he turned out evil. Also I digged the ending of it lol with Eska all crazier and what not

Hmm. I'm more of a "let's see what this baby can bring to shake things up" kind of guy, so that's why I don't really mind it being (going to be) here. Thing is, the only time I'd use a controller is for racing games... and maybe non-precise platformers.

There's an article on Engadget (which is surprisingly not **** after the Verge guys hauled ass, which ironically turned **** instead, IMO) on anecdotes from game devs on the pre-beta (?) Steam controller. Mostly stayed highly optimistic and are looking forward to make it work. If they're okay, then I'm okay.

Although, as soupguy said, brawlers might be affected. But then, anyone worth their salt and are seriously into brawlers have their fightpad thingy already.

Besides, maybe finally I'll sit at my TV more now with Big Picture on if I ever wanted to play Skyrim... or some other game that don't really need buttons of kb or precision of mouse to just relax (while I'm being a NEET and live with my parents still, that is).

EDIT: and by principle, I'm almost always thrilled at new technological advancement (like the haptic feedback thing, for example).

Are you pumped for Oculus Rift as well?

I can't wait for the Japanese devs to go bonkers with it, it'll bring 2D to life.

Ooh good point, that will be pretty cool!
