Imo, yes, sadder than either of those two. But that's my personal opinion of course.

This, really, explained the death of the characters. While it was sad that they died, it wasn't quite so tragic, as they gave their lives for the greater good.
 
 
The epilogue was quite sad, but the ending was quite happy, mitigating the overall sadness. What an emotional rollercoaster the last 2 hour of the VN was!
 
You don't have to read Clannad to read Tomoyo After, but at the very least I'd recommend reading Tomoyo's route in Clannad to get all the backstory.

I have read only one work of Nietzsche, but there he never was negative about existence at all. I wonder if it's in another work of his, or whether it's just that a lot of people think that's what Nietzsche wrote.

Yeah, believe it or not it's actually not hard to find! But usually it runs about 10k yen, or more than what I paid... :p
the OP and EDs will probably stick with me the most. I'm actually quite surprised though, I never liked any of the music either on the first play through or two but now the character songs have me quite hooked on the music ^_^
Dammit, I'll have to start rewrite ASAP after you say that! D:
But yeah, TA was definitely really really sad... *Waits patiently for memorial edition to be translated*

You don't have to read clannad, anime is fine. But if you didn't really like it, no guarantees you will like TA.

So. I see that Head-fi's UI has changed. Or it's just me not coming here for about a month :p Looks slicker somehow. 
 
Does anyone have the summer season chart? Tried to go to twitter to see it, but all the photos are spring. I see fall has a lot of good shows coming. Lot's of VN's are going to be adapted.
 
Also Finished TWEWY: SR
 
Think that's the best story line I've played to date.

Rewrite's common route was lots of fun, especially scenes with Yoshino (basically he's like Clannad's Sunohara, but less pathetic and more badass). I think you'll really enjoy it, especially if you liked Little Buster's common route.
 
Isn't the memorial edition of TA the same, but with just the ero scenes removed? The ero scenes right at the start of the TA were really lame -_-.
 
I don't use FB and I don't log on Skype much, but I'll join the Skype group :D

It's got a lot more shounen and plot. Lots of s2. Good think that the author of IS recovered a year or 2 ago

I just felt really bad for meiya when this happened.... and then she dies off without confessing her feelings....
Well she's my fav character anyway.
Indeed, the epilogue brought me to tears since the insert song "Close your eyes" by Ayane started playing
