Someone did a teardown of a pair of replica Beats and probably thought they were real ones. It just shows how easy it is to fool people with Chinese replicas nowadays.

I love how Traditional Chinese is just "Chinese" but Simplified was specifically referred to as such:

Audiophile Redditor Vantt1 has gone to the trouble of highlighting some internal differences between real and fake Beats in this Imgur page, which shows a crossover circuit absent in the teardown and other discrepancies.

Sounds familiar~

+1m

It had me from the first three seconds of the music.

This is ballsy. Also waifubartending.com? Just so much Yes.

A bit strong on the Re-L liquor but maybe, but I'll live.

They've got a free demo on their waifubartending site.

Requires windows though :l I'll have to boot into Win to check it out.

I've also been listening to the OST on bandcamp.

It's pretty awesome stuff. Gonna have to drop the $8 for the game/OST combo. There was another really interesting looking game that just dropped recently:

From Sam Barlow, the guy behind Silent Hill Shattered Memories. It's an old school FMV type game where you parse a criminal database to unlock video clips of police interviews of a woman whose husband was murdered. I got pretty sucked into listening to Serial, so this is right up my alley.

So to confirm, cuz it's not very clear, $7.99 will get you both? Cuz that's what I call reasonable. He'll I'll throw in an extra $1 just for that.

I don't know if I can play a game like that after being so very done with law and order...

Yup, it's eight dollars for access to the Prologue chapter, the OST, and then future access to the game on the platform of your choice. You don't have to pay anything to access the windows demo though, just click "no thanks, take me to downloads" if you wanna access the demo (then again, if you're dropping the $8, you're getting the prologue chapter anyway, tho I have no idea what the difference is between the prologue and the demo, I'd imagine the prologue is a finalized chapter whereas the demo is perhaps a proof of concept?)

I wish I can get as excited as him over a cardboard box and a SE826. Mainly that cardboard box.

To be fair, the unboxing experience for the 846 was really nice. Second best to K3003. LAB I is an honorary mention purely for its wackiness.

Welp, the Music One gets all praise from me once again. Seven months after last hearing it, I still think it's probably the one of the best in-ears for overall frequency balance....and it's just one, freaking one, balanced armature. ONE. $211.02 USD according to Google's latest conversions from 189 euros. In-ears don't need 1238746102389 balanced armatures crammed into a shell to sound good.

Harmony 8 Pro has a similar overall frequency balance, maybe having a bit more treble, but it's not overdone like in the Two and Pro 330v2.
