Haha, fair enough. I'm a tad bit more picky and I can't stand basically anything remotely metal other than some Metallica songs :/
Huh, interesting.... I still haven't hear an automagic cable that improved the sound by any perceivable difference, and all the software tweaks I've done have been so minimal that I've never bothered repeating them.
Haha, deputy sheriff lived right next to you? That sounds like trouble to my friends and I...
That does sound pretty awesome though, and I'm assuming you didn't get hinamizawa syndrome?
Yeah, good luck finding many girls in this hobby that weren't just dragged into it by their husband/bf/whatever. I almost feel like a passion for music is more common in younger folks say 15-25 than the older generations, but I feel it's always been that way for all generations... Who knows.
Yup, I guess it's all about what your priorities are though. If you're a basshead, lambdas aren't for you. Of course if you want something stylish or built well, they aren't it either. But I wanted absolute transparency and something that sounded very "clear" and "clean" sounding without being harsh sounding and giving me a headache. All the TOTL planar magnetic headphones (save the Paradox Slant, though that's not technically TOTL) has failed my "does it sound harsh with a certain porn game song" test. Most of them sound harsh, while others just sound too colored/not transparent or "clear" enough. Same with most dynamics, and even a few of the lambdas.
In case you're curious, here's my test song:
No, I won't buy all of them now, just when I get the money and maybe when some of my friends want stuff too, that way we can split shipping costs.
I already did. Nice song that is.
Eeew mirrorless.
Good luck using it! It took me about a year to really feel confident in my ability to use my DSLR.
And now I'm tired. I'm meeting a fellow Head-Fier in 9 hours too...
@mechgamer123 @miceblue Are you two friends in real life?
I vaguely remember you trying to
lure me to Washington to trap me in your mechymouse spider web and suck out my innards invite me to Washington to listen to audio gear...but I can't remember if it was the both of you or just one.
Yup yup, Micey said it. We met on head-fi and Michelle gave me an unofficial tour of the uni I got accepted to that she'd been going to for the past four years, and then last year we hung out a lot.
Actually, the "dislike" comment was about the love songs. lol. That's funny, anyway, because metal accounts for roughly half of what I listen to, and I can't stand Metallica, especially since they started to sound more like country music. You probably just haven't heard any good metal. Lots of it is very melodic and more creative than most mainstream music.
My new headphone cable is the exact same one I used to have, but brand new instead of over two years old. It sounds much better than the remote cable too.
I've known him all my life (since before he got that job) and was friends with his son, so I visited their house many times a week. In another town, I lived a few houses away from the sheriff. His daughter was in the same grade as me, but we weren't close.
Of course I didn't get Hinamizawa Syndro- What was that? I can hear Oyashiro-sama's footsteps! And what are these maggots? *scratch scratch* Eeeyaarrgghh! =P
"Harsh" is something I don't hear often about planar magnetic headphones. I mean, Audeze are supposed to sound smooth and lush, for example. I usually hear "harsh" about the piercing treble of certain dynamic headphones. And actually, from what little I have read about Lambdas, I think I did hear the word "harsh" mentioned about a few of them.
So many girls named Saya...
I have a manual camera (Pentax K1000) where you do everything yourself as well. It's not too difficult to learn.
Oh, so her name's Michelle? You learn something new every day!
Oh, whooops! I don't think I've heard any Metallica songs that sounded country-ish yet, but okay. My friends said the same thing about metal, and I listened to their suggestions, but still didn't like the songs one bit.
Huh, that's interesting. Was the old one really corroded or something?
Hahaha, what is it with you and Sherrifs?
Oh no, marginal spoilers for Higurashi! D:
The LCD2 is one of those that doesn't sound harsh, but it just sounds too dull and rolled off to me. Also, the headband does not work for my head one bit, so I could never consider owning one. It was literally so bad, that when I was on a week long tour for the LCD2, I quit using it halfway through and went back to my Mad Dogs instead, which took me at least an hour to differentiate the sound between the two.
She's the best character named Saya though!
Lol, reminds me of the AKG K1000! I'm just too lazy to set my camera to manual mode and I just use P mode instead, that way I can most likely get a nice shot without having to fiddle with all the dials while people are looking at me funny.
Yeah... I thought that was given in the thread a little while back though?
Who watches hentai for the dialog?
I thought we came to terms about dubs/subs? Everyone has different preferences, and depending on the setting of the series in question, either could have an advantage over the other?
Yup, that's why you remove them yourself when need be.
I do? Usually it's so bad it's funny.
Nope, just like the Mac vs PC debate will rage on forever, so will sub vs dub. XD
Did you and
@mechgamer123 both say "yup yup" before you met?
...or more accurately...
Hahaha, I didn't even catch that, that is frightening! Yes I did.
Screw you, Mr Blue Sky! Won't stop fudging raining here
Yay, good song!
i Have this on LP, great album and track!
Me too! I think I even have two copies actually...
