I was browsing through reviews of certain headphones and sites and came across this.
I thought accessoryjack was a legit website and had considered using them?  Anyone know whether this article is correct and accurate or whether it's just them not wanting people to get a good deal?

I found the following on this site

They are legit but unauthorized - this means you will not get fake stuff from them but your headphone will not get warranty by the manufacturer. Instead, AJ will handle your warranty if you need to claim it. It is considered as grey market goods.

So you still get a warranty and it will be honoured, just not authorised or honoured by the manufacturer themselves?
That's fine, as long as they're not fakes, I don't mind.

OK great thanks very much.

(forgive the resurrection, this is the first post that comes up on a search for "accessoryjack" so I figured I'd add a note here)

AccessoryJack may require that you keep the original warranty sticker and/or documentation to honor the warranty. See this tale of sadness for details.

First, even though an old thread, this is a good informative thread.

I live in the USA, and I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a some Sony MDR 1RBTMK2  they don't sell them in the states. Only in foreign markets. With that said, I did my research. I can get them on Amazon, and they will be coming from Japan, and I can get them from AccessoryJack.. IMO, Amazon has got top notch customer service, and I do mean top notch..I can get them For $335 shipped from AccesoryJack, and
I just put one in my cart on Amazon, but that one comes to $386 with shipping included.

From my research AccessoryJack is okay. .After, I am in the USA, and this is a "grey market" item..I understand all the complications that come with dealing with a "grey market" item. Just want to get a legit item, from a legit seller.. Amazon is top notch in customer service, and I even asked them would they price match!! :D  They told me only TVs.. :) Anyway, they did tell me that they would stand behind the item...If I go with AccessoryJack, I will pay with Paypal.

Again, this is a good thread.. Props to the OP..

They`re fine if you`re located in Asia pacific, they ship from hong-kong but you don`t get any of those hidden shipping costs like becextech, they`re also frequently the most economical option and have excellent prices, I`ve ordered a heap of stuff from them before, shipping is prompt and they seem to respond quickly, I would recommend them easily.

Thanks much for the feedback. That is a big 50 I save going with them. I just sent them an email with a couple questions too.

I ordered the Audio-Tecnica ATH-IM70 from accessoryjack a few hours ago, then i noticed this thread and baulked at opening it for a second as i thought to myself 'crap….what if they are a scam site?" but thankfully that's not the case. Now I'll just have to wait patiently as they're out of stock at the moment.

+1

If anything goes wrong you have to ship them back to AccesoryJacks instead of manufacturer

I've bought my ATH-CKS1000 from them and have no issues with them

Same here, the feedback on them is good. With that I just contacted them on ordering the Sony MDR 1RBTMK2, which they have the best price on. However, they told me they are out of stock, will be back in stock in 14 days. Also, I asked for an intruction manual in English, they said the manual will be in English..

Wishing a speedy restocking for both our items.. :)

Is every product 'Out of stock' before purchasing?

It doesnt make sense that they're products are original but not in warranty

Where are they getting the stuff from? If it's not from the manufacturer, is it returns by customers from them but not 'offering the warranty' or they are buying it directly 'out of their pockets' and selling it?

That was two days ago. I am out and about, but I just checked my email. Got one from AccessoryJack saying they are back in stock. Will order sometime today. I have read enough ratings, and from contact with them, that I have no reservations about the product on how they will stand behind teh warranty. From what I understand, and I have no reason to doubt, the item I ordering is "gray market". They get it right from the maker. If something goes wrong with that item, I ship back to them, and they in turn send it to the maker for repair or replacement. The main and most important part is that I UNDERSTAND all of this before I purchase. Nothing hidden, all out in the open. It is up to US as buyers to make that call.

In the meantime, I am on burning rubber, skidding on two wheels to get home fast and quick to order.. Yes, I am that fast.. :)

My order from AccessoryJack arrived yesterday. I have nothing but good things to say about this transaction.

First, their price was the best, the shipping fantastically fast, and the communication great.

I took the cheapest shipping method with tracking. I am in the USA.. With that, it only took 8 days. That is fantastic.  I made sure I put all the packing that came
with these headphones away. In that rare chance, I have a warranty issue, I will have all the original packing to ship it back with.

Again, from my experience, I give AccessoryJack high marks, right there with Amazon.

i am thinking about buying some v-moda m-100's from accessory jack and i saw their low price and got a bit suspicious. i dont want to waste my money on some fake headphones and was just wondering if anybody knew if accessoryjack sold legit v-moda headphones. ive read alot of reviews concerning where and where not to buy headphones from and accessoryjack only had a red flag when concerning shure headphones but nothing about v-moda's.

if any of you can help, thank you in advance
