Triple Fi 10 pros have in my experience, AMAZING vocals, like you feel the singer right beside you, you can actually feel their voice and presence, have great clarity and some people say they have some nice punchy bass while lacking sub bass....so, what would happen if paired up with a Zo1 or Zo2!?

I actually sold mine because the bass was just unsatisfying and bought the MDT's and loved em but i missed the tf10's vocals...while the MDT's had greeeeeat bass and subass, the vocals just didnt feel as special as they did with the tf10...

So, since the tf10 is a great all rounder, what would happen with the Zo? A portable subwoofer amp?

The best electronica experience under 500 USD?

What do you think? If you have both, PLEASE tell us the experience :D

It would also be nice to compare the tf10's with the TFTA's XB1 (the best bass iems ever) but not many people have them.

I haven't listened to the TF10 in a looooong time but the bass and sub-bass on the TFTA is much better, much fuller and much more engaging, just perfect for trance, vocal trance etc.

The vocals are more present and engaging on the TF10 but not by much. The Future Sonics Atrio's are another IEM with excellent vocals/mids but not as good as the TF10.

Overall, I would take the TFTA over TF10 for trance/electronica.

I defnitley would too, because of the bass, BUT WHAT IF the tf10 was paired with a Zo2? This is the point of the thread.

Just jump on to youtube and search Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, ATB. These will let you compare trance/vocal trance.

Someone in the forums with the tf10 and zo2:

"Hiss. nothing serious.
with the Zo in red, I've never heard bass like this, earth shaking. I found myself looking around thinking Godzilla was coming. not mu cup f tea, I kept it green to light orange and it was fine.
soundstage remains to same to my ears, actually I feel nothing else get affected, but as I said, too much bass, I am not a basshead."

Sorry, I don't have experience with amps but I don't see how adding one can change the characteristics/limitations of the drivers within the IEM.

Boy, you have no idea, why do you think there is so much **** about amps? Haha, trust me, IT CHANGES THE SOUND A LOT, and it can definitley increase bass like for example, on my dads bose qc15, the bass is well...average? 2.8/5, when connected to the onkyo reciever, the bass increases to a rumbling, impactful, 4/5 bass which is really great :D

so yes, it WILL increase the bass exponentally, also confirmed by a non-basshead fellow head-fier above.

Dont you DARE! Youtube's quality sucks...I'll post download links for the real comparisons and the real "feeling" of the vocals/bass.

I will post here 2 songs that will show you what im talking about with the vocal presence with the tf10s, one is trance and the other is...not trance :) not electronica at all. I want you to tell me how diffrent the vocal experience is with the tfta xb and tf10 to see what happens :D

Much appreciated luco!

On the song above, the first thing you'l notice if the bass is good, is on 0:04 seconds, itl give out a decent kick, its how i meassured if i had a good seal with my miles davis tributes. Now, when i had my tf10's, i remember 0:11-0:14 having some real presence, like you could feel her beside you, feel her voice, something i didnt notice with the miles davis, even tho in the miles davis i did appreciate the "kick" before on 0:04 which i did not get with the Ttf10s.

First of all, YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THIS SONG, to get the 16mb quality, the online players cut it in half or even less.

Now, that starting bassline FILLED ME with both the tf10 and miles davis, it was such a nice bassline, it drowned out all noise.

What's important about this song, is @  2:35 AND 3:00-3:10, those vocals are AMAZING in the tf10's they felt so incredible close to me , just great, something the miles davis could not produce, even those the bass on them was funner.

Please download the second song for the rightful 320bitrate quality.

What NAV is saying:

Amps add to your overall listening quality - but don't change the earphones.

I had Westone 2's - paired them up with the Fii0 E5 with BASS BOOST, and the bass on the w2's was more, but not BETTER than my Sony EX500's (which btw were 1/4 of the price)

Westone's, TF10's, Shure's, they all work on BA drivers - i really really don't think you will find as much bass on BA's than on dynamics.

Unless you spend something like £400 BA's earphones will they match the bass quantity of £100 dynamics

That's my opinion, and that's what I've found.
Regardless, the TFTA 1XB's is the BEST for bass (hands down) in the under £300 earphone category.
(check my profile for the things I've heard)

In terms of overall earphone too it wins. Simply because I don't need 100% reproduction/studio quality like the se535's offer = that's just over-kill for personal listening.

Also remember:
Your budget:
$150 vs $200/300 etc

You won't find anything in that price range in terms of bass to match the 1XB's.
read, and been told there are other earphones out there such as the Vsonics, and the JVC's but I haven't heard them nor have any plans in buying them.

Just listening to those songs now:

Could you do me a favour, and just send me your entire music library :p
Love your music bro!
I need more trance songs sent my way - I love trance, but know absolutely no artists etc.
I ALWAYS listening to armin when i was back in the UK

Now your 1st song:
You feel the kick, but what I noticed most on this song, is the actually drums, "kapam shhh" in the background.
Vocals were nice, but not upfront. They were evenly split between the treble, drums and her voice.
I love how discrete but nice (i think piano) is in the song. So nice!

So put in short:
I felt I was playing the music, but in all honesty the vocals were there, not too upfront (as i hate that) and not so laid back either

2nd song:
Right out:
Bass banging, kick is there, and very nice.

@0:30 = change in music, very nicely done.
@0:59 = bass kicks in and music spectrum is "activated" - i'm hearing noises from left and right (soundstage)
@2:05 = just like in the first song, equal balance in the song (no upfront vocals or bass etc = just perfect)
@3:08 = love love love = very present (vocals)
@4:16 = THIS IS WHY I LOVE trance/electronic music
@5:50 = i love how the music is being separated from left and right

Hope this gives at least my view of it

Very nice! Appreciate it!

Btw, those arent even my favorite songs or the ones I mostly listen to, those are just average IMO but are great in technical aspects and for testing :)

I'll do you a favor and link you my favorite song ever, its Progressive Trance and while the vocals arent so special, the bass is great and the melody is my favorite :)

http://www11.zippyshare.com/v/8062210/file.html  ---It'l make you LOVE trance, again, download it for max quality.

I wonder how it sounds with faster electronica like:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhsZqZpl6xU it's so awesome xD

And as for slower electronica (dubstep) here is an amazingly epic song, the intro is full of bass and will scare your face off, uve been warned.

And finally, a very varied-sounding trance tune, it's amazingly fun and delightful.
