Headphone channel balance

Anyone know how acurately each driver is balanced for various makes of cans?

I think Grado claimed 0.5db for their RS-1,but can they actually be matched that closely? I would have thought 1db would have been more likely.

The HD650s have drivers handmatched to within 1 dB of one another.

That's all I know about any headphones' channel matching.
