They replaced the M9 3 times.

They offered me the M11+ which I took. ( broke in 2 days ) 1 time

M31 for higher impendence rating 2 times.

 

They sent me a Sp51 for even higher impendence rating... Hopefully it will last a good amount of time.

Hi all, just ordered the cc51 and joining the club.  The reviews described a sound signature I believe I will be happy with, my only concern is the build quality issues, but for $41 on overstock right now, figured I'd give them a try.  Sounds like the customer service is good on exchanges so the hassle in dealing with exchange is the only downside I see.  They only have white, but that will match my hair!  etysmile.gif

just bought 5 pair of M9's last week when they were on sale, and a set of M6's. Been loving the M9's but I think they would benefit from comply foams. M6 hasn't been delivered yet.

im a cc51 iem fan.

for me this is better than fx700 because of the same timbre, natural sound and most of all - that very upfront vocals.

Which MEElec's would you all recommend me for House/Deep House music?  I'm def NOT a bass head!  I prefer a rich, clear and FULL sound.  I would like it if the sound was clear and detailed at low volumes where I usually listen to my music.  Thanks for any help!

CC51, good bass speed and detailing due to micro driver. Midrange is recessed though these are fun sounding.

When you first get them, the vocals do sound upfront...  After burn in, well, things changed for me :p

oh yeah when u first get them the midrange is incredibly sibilant

Thanks for the suggestion!  I'll give them a try.

 

Would the A151's be comparable to these (CC51) or boomier monitors like the SP51's?

the A151s are nothing like the CC51s
