Hello

I am new to this forum although i have known and enjoyed the very informative posts on this site for many years.

I am looking for IEM's with a remote to use with my iPhone 4,i am not an audiophile but have quite a discerning ear.
I recently bought a pair of Klipsch Si4's but to my dismay they broke after two months (the left earphone came out of its casing) of light use i just got a refund since they didn't have it in stock anymore, i did a lot of research and have read many reveiws and frankly i am still at loss as what to buy next.

I loved how the Klipsch's sounded but the build quality makes me wonder if i should buy them again?

So i guess i am looking for something similar in SQ with better buld quality.

Would the V-Moda remix remote be a good alternative?
Maybe the Denon - AHC260R or the Senheiser mm70ip?

P.S i just found the etymotic mc3 for 79 euros what do you think

Budget 50-70 Euro

Please advise me.

Thanks

Jay

Check the table in Post #8 at the end of Page 1 in Joker's massive set of reviews. The first column ("i") indicates which of those 202 (so far!) IEMS has a mic/remote option.

V_Moda Remix are good alternative of S4i with decent soundquality and punchy bass.

"i am not an audiophile but have quite a discerning ear" and yet you like the Klipsch S4 with its muddy bloated bass? Hmm.
Try the CC51P for a little flatter sound and better timbre.

If you like the Klipsch S4i you should give the Nuforce NE700M a look.

Soon Westone will release its MICS removable cable. That opens you up to even better choices like the UM3X RC, W4-R, as well as all their customs, which start at $399 for the AC2.

I use my Westone ES5's with my iPhone 4S and can't wait to be able to take calls with them. Good luck on your quest.

When I had my S4, the bass was very bloated and I didn't let them fully burn in before I upgraded and sold the S4. I don't remember much about them though since it was a while ago. From what I remember (keep in mind the S4 wasn't fully burned in), the S4's bass was more out of control but both are very bloated and lacked detail. They are quite similar but I wouldn't call the A-Jays Four an upgrade, especially because I found the cord to be quite microphonic quite uncomfortable.
