Necroing an old thread to let y'all know that the Sony MDR-SA1/3/5k pads fit over these, and are hella comfy. Improves bass response a little, needs to be paired with an amp in the the brighter side, but nothing drastic
Just got pair of these good ol 141:s Damned they need lot´s of juice to drive!
but if you got your self good amp, they really shine! Very balanced cans. A bit more lo-end and tad more high end sparcle, and they would be phenomenal.
I just ordered new pads, and when they arrive, i try couple of mods, that could do just that.
