I'd say that the TF10 probably dominates hands down. Anyone think otherwise?

There's nothing quite like the effortless shimmer of an electrostat.

treblehead here, with basshead headphones frown.gif but with the mods ive done, they do become brighter. My next buy hopefully is Shure SRH440... Lets hope the treble is enough for me.

Yay for the trebleheads.
940 just arrived at my house, sadly I'm at school.
Probably going to run home.
940 and from what I've heard RE0 should be on this list.

Now you have to remove the UE700 from the other thread and put it on this list, because its definitely not neutral.

@OP, Oh boy... I had a feeling it was a matter of time until somebody did this.

You may as well call it the Grado Appreciation Thread. wink.gif

Why is neutral / balance, not neutral / balance-head? It should be for consistency, unless you mean neutral / balance is *different* from the "heads"? Seems like there's a value judgement in your title choices.

Heh, because balance-head/ neutral-head sounds.. a bit weird. Well.. does it?

It's still a new thread. :)

Na its not that, I believe that a lot of us trebleheads are just bassheads on the DL

Ugh! The Meelec M6 is sooooooooo bright, along with the Meelec CC51. Their hyperbrightness and treble extension make them sound harsh and fatiguing.
