Obviously I'll need to wait to see what the date is, but I'll definitely try to make it.

yeah right..numbnut..you know you better make this meet..heck we might even force you into having this meet at your place lols..don't make us do that ;)

As for the meet itself, i don't quite know when the meet is going to be..but tentatively i will be out of the country  (visiting folks) from November 16th to December 10th.

we'll see how the schedule and dates work out.

Hey, as much as it may shock people, I'd have to prioritize visiting my family in Hawaii for two weeks over a Head-Fi meet.  I know right?  Shocking!

That's from December 13th, though, so probably shouldn't be an issue.

Other than that, the only other things that could pose a problem is if something weird came up with work or the condo.

Sweet, looking forward to the next meet. Hopefully I can find a babysitter this time. Ive should have a couple new additions to play with at the next meet. Some Lorenz Stuggart Triple Micca tubes for the Lyr and a Bifrost DAC. Also picked up a pair of LCD-2's, I bet you guys have never been able to try those before. I also have on order both a Norse Audio Norn 8 wire and 4 wire cable to compare with each other. For some reason I didnt come home with my Grado 1/4 to 1/8 adapter cable though, so I might be less friendly letting my stuff walk around the room however. Anyhow, looking forward to it. The last meet was lots of fun.

Nice!  I just moved here in September and am hoping the Seattle meets are as good as the Bay Area ones!

Damn.  Hope someone just accidentally packed it with their stuff on the way out and you can get it back this time around.  :(

Welcome!  Can't speak for how the meets here compare to others, but they're usually pretty friendly and laid back.  Then there's usually the after meet.

I cant be sure what happened to it. I know somebody did ask me if they could use it and of course I said yes. It may have come back from that person though. I didnt notice the time and had to pack up in a hurry, but I did check my area out pretty well before I left. Im gonna nerd out and make myself a checklist so that I can come home with all of my stuff this time. Its only $15 so Im not terribly bummed about it. Im sure nobody intentionally took it and I didnt intentionally loose it. Either way, I still cant wait for this next meet.

I moved up here from San Francisco a few years ago.  When I first started going to the meets here, they were quite small, with a mix of equipment, but always very friendly.  Didn't quite compare to some of the stuff you'd see at the Bay area meets.  Now they've grown and you'll find some pretty high end stuff.  No Orpheus or anything like that yet but wouldn't be surprised if Kingstyles showed up with one some day.  But the great thing about these meets is they're always moving throughout the greater Seattle area, so always have new people showing up.  There was even a Meet in the Middle meet, halfway between Portland and Seattle.  Most of the thanks goes to Big Poppa for setting up all these meets.

I meant to go to the last one but I had some last minute stuff come up.  Hopefully I can see what all these are about this time!

I don't have a whole lot to bring that people haven't probably already heard, but somebody might want to try out an SRH940 or CharterOak SP-1?
