Yeah, kinda. I listen to Diana Krall quite a bit, Norah Jones a bit less, and I've been captivated by Adele for the last month or so. Also - from the XLD ripping log, and from listening, average gain is like -9 db or so. Lots of dynamic headroom. Many of the songs start pretty quiet, and build, with lots of room for that. The album seems really well engineered. Definitely worth the price of a new CD.
I've been well, and busy at work. My D7000's moved on, and I've spent a little time over at the DT1350 threads - my new-ish cans. They aren't as perfect as some would have you believe, but for a well built, portable closed can that isn't the HD-25-1-II, they are pretty nice, and suit me well.
Quads - I finally got a refit, got them back last week. I bought them in march, and the left has been loose the whole time. I finally sent them in. They charged me $25 + $15 shipping for sitting on the refit for so long, I'm fine with it actually. They turned them around in a week, and they seem to be perfect now. I really like them.
Back to subject - go out and get a copy of Adele 21, I bet you'll like it!
