IEMs for under £350

I will highely recommend to try Sennheiser IE8 first because it's has bass knob to adjust the bass and soundstage is huge (out of head) with detailed mids n highs. Overall IE8 soundsignature is warm, clean and very engaging(emotional, rich n impactful bass). BTW now IE80 is released which is even more clean, clear and keep the best of IE8.

I've heard about the IE 80. Does anyone know the release date on these?

If someone really like the HD25, I'd be more prone to recommend the W3 or Triple.fi. But not really the IE8. I think W3 may be what you're looking for!

I've had more experience with headphones than IEMs. My fav. full sized headphones that I've owned are the Sennhieser HD25-1 ii. I love their bass impact and overall detail and clarity.  I now want something for on the move.

So to recap, what I want in priority order

- Tight bass impact
- Clarity, detail, separation
- Immersive, emotion provoking sound

If I go on then I'd pretty much be describing the perfect phones and I know they don't exist, at least within a reasonable budget, but I want to go as close to as I can while leaning towards a fun sound rather than clinical.

I'm not sure if the custom Merlin's would be worth it, or if I should just save the money and go for either the SE535, Westone 3/UM3X or iE8.

I tired the 535s, and I definitely wasn't a fan, I don't think they're would the sound you would be looking for. Maybe..... The IE8? I can't really think right now :/ That was probably the worst suggestion I've made.

Maybe I was thinking straight then....

So for

- Tight bass impact
- Clarity and airiness
- Wow factor - Immersive head bobbing sound
- Build quality

which would you say comes closest out of

- SE535
- iE8
- Monster Turbine Pro Gold
- Westone 3/4

I'm really torn, but I'm going to force myself to make a decision today. The suspense is just killing me.

With more research, I'm now leaning more towards to Monster Turbines.

I am really close to hitting the button for the Miles Davis edition, but I don't know if they are worth the price difference over the Golds.

I can get the MDs for £270 while the Golds are £200. Is the £70 price difference worth it for the MDs? Anyone who has head both, I would be grateful to hear your thoughts.

Almost there!

Don't go with the golds, I would get either the MD trumpets or tributes.

I just found some Miles Davis Tributes for £170 and had to take the plunge. I'm really hoping they aren't fakes as they cost over £270 on Amazon! I'll just have to wait and see.

Do they look legit?

I was in the same position as you kind of, and everyone suggested the IE8 and I ended up buying them. (like 2 days ago) and so far as of two days with about 8hr's of usage. There superb and the sound stage is outstanding. The bass is quite pleasing especially since i'm a basshead.
