Ahhh well.... well..... just use duct tape! Duct tape fixes EVERYTHING! lmao

BTW i took the paper towel out of the ear cushions, it was just the initial head clamping force is why my ears were touching, it's all good now... most comfortable headphones i've ever owned. I've had some good cheap ones too in the past, mostly turtle beach's for gaming.. those are excellent when it comes to comfort.. crap though for music, great for gaming though!

No once you get going. I opened them up and poked holes into the grill until I could get a grip and start pulling. I pulled around the cup and it came off nice and easy. The sound is incredible it really opens them up. I probably lost a few db's in the sub bass but I have other headphones for that. If your aren't interested in selling them I say go for it.

Damn, do you have a solder iron? Those wires do seem fragile and small... i almost did the same thing last night removing the duct tape to do that thing you told me (put some where the hinge attaches). I have also decided i want to revert back to duct tape in the middle, i liked it better like that. I'm not a bass head... but i do like a moderate amount of bass.. maybe i'll experiment with the duct tape in different areas lol (i wonder what will happen if i tape it all off? lmao)

Ah nevermind i managed to do a temporary fix, no idea where my dad kept the soldering iron, kinda bit too late at 3am to ask him about it.
I managed to fix it using duct tape for the time being

Wellllll... HOW DOES IT SOUNND?! lol

How the hell did you manage to fix it with duct tape? I guess duct tape does fix everything lol

Also, you use the grey duct tape? I've been using the red and black stuff.. i doubt it matters anyhow.
