you have it too? wat hp are u talking of?

I have a Yamaha TSS-20

For my PC. I thought I'd try Yamaha Headphones and a friend has the ones you own/ed. I thought they had very nice sub bass. Not upper bass early mids but 20-60Hz. I though they were quite nice. Most folks don't go that low very often (they think they do) but they really don't. These 220 you had that I tried sounded nice. High sloped amp and they started to lose it but cans 6 x more expensive do that too.

I thought these would be great for Hip Hop with less than insane ampage and even better with tracks like that Etta James

This track sounded outstanding on those Yamaha. I don't own them but they would be welcome in my collection.

  It's alright.
I couldn't recommend any PC based systems since it's never pushed. I't gives me surround at the PC and the sub hits plenty deep but I couldn't say what is what in that field.? I'm sure you would want a better sub 12-15

lol nahh homie lol. not in a lil home studio where it will just serve as legs to hold up the song. I think 10" even is borderline for my space. For near fields all I need is a little bit more reach down there with some good speed and fast decay.
you tryna get me evicted lol.

Now if it was in a house set up with music cranked to rock out too and i didnt have to worry about neighbors then I would get crazy like that.

I have 2 15" subs under my floor...no pictures except for the lines running under the floor
(had the subs put in when the put the floor in)

This is the "center" channel of a 7.2 system (below)

It's raised...obviously.

I have a 5.1 and a 7.2 in the same room and can run them at the same time but that's a sonic nightmare...technically I shouldn't be able to do it coming out of the Yamaha DSP ...as per the instructions but it will run a digital and analog signal simultaneously which is awful...but it can do it I found out by accident.

You should look into Infinite Baffle subs if you love bass. You can get flat usable bass all the way down to 10Hz if you do it right. Probably need 4 x 15 or 18 inch bass drivers and just one 200w amp. It doesn't need to be so powerful because there's no mechanical limits

Welcome aboard, my friend.

I am a huge fan of your work!

Hoping to get on board the LCD 2.1 and internal modded Fostex TH-600 train sometime soon....that closed LCD-2 the other day was pretty cool huh ? But no-one even blinked over on the LCD-2 thread that its graph bested the LCD-XC....

Funny you saw that, I was going to message you and see if you were up to the task.. Could probably do pretty well, considering the huge LCD community on Head-fi.

Also it looks mad.

You should look into some Lawton-style cup mods for Fostex THx00 and Denon Dx000, pretty popular mod!

Am looking at deep dish wood Fostex T50's just now and carved wood headphone stands. Looks like our Comrade in Russia was first to do this closed LCD-2 mod I had earmarked. Well done to him for working them inside out to this new sound signature.

Sounds great mate. Get involved!
