I've used the HM5 pads on my Takstar Pro80s and HE500s both with good results. I also find them really comfy

HM5 pads are great, very comfortable and good isolation.

Anyone looking for a portable headphone with great bass should check out the Don Scorpio Dolphin, weird name great headphone :)

I have more than a few sets if you're interested!

They fit well on a lot of cans - Denon Dx000 series, ATH M50, Fischer FA003, FA011...

For my ears, they seal quite well.

Thanks! I'd get the alpha dogs but they look oval shaped and the JVC are more round. These brainwaves are supposed to fit pretty good.

Thanks for the responses.

I'd snag some from ya but I'm in Japan :frowning2:

Switched the shallow stock cups with a set of deeper cups from the 55x

Mids and highs sound better and bass hits at least the same maybe harder

I'm not sure how you spend so much time creating a dual driver/dual chamber dual bass tubed design and throw shallow cups on it?

Oops photo is upside down. Its the SZ2000 with the HE500s. A vast improvement in mids with moved off the cans by a few mm

S**t, going from the TH600 to the SZ2000 makes the TH600 sound like a treblehead can. Mids are so murky in comparison though but we knew that
