Which of these: Sony XB500, Denon AH301, JVC RX700, Panasonic HTF890 or Senn PX 100?

I am looking for headphones in 40-60EUR range with a good bass performance is crucial. However, if given a choice between great bass + terrible others and good bass + OK others, I'd go with the second...

The current list is:
Sony XB500 (seems really nice, but might be a bit too open for listening in public)
Denon AH301
JVC RX700
Panasonic HTF890
Senn PX 100 (portability is an advantage)

At the moment, the XB500 appears as the best choice... What is your opinion?

Heya,

Panasonic RP-HTF600

I bought two. I also have the XB500. I rank it above the XB500 for total headphone. They sound very similar, but the Panasonic has better mids & highs while still having quite monstrous bass. It's a very warm lush musical headphone, sturdy, brushed aluminum back plates, long cord and is comfortable. Great headphone for it's inexpensive cost.

Very best,

might be worth considering the Beyerdynamic DT 235.  I bought the 231 recently, for a good price, and have been delighted with the sound.  The fact they look uninspiring is strangely a good point when wearing them out and about.  Worth a look perhaps.

HTF600 seem quite nice, though a bit too bling bling. Has anyone else tried them?

DT235 and 231 seem to have somewhat lower bass response (18-20Hz IIRC). It might be just a marketing trick by Sony, but I still find myself a bit more tempted by xb500 :D Or should I just ignore the difference?

The panasonic HTF600's are pretty great.  I love the bass on it: full, it can extend low, and it can vibrate your ears at fairly low volumes.  All while having a clear mid and high (not pristine, but better than a lot of bass heavy headphones).  They are semi open, but I use them at work and can drown out my surroundings without too much leakage.
