2 WEEKS?! Are they shipping from Narnia?

Haha, more like to Narnia. First the IEM will get to Germany and that will only take a few days, but then it will be forwarded to 'Narnia' in Asia for me to get them :).

Explanation: I live in the UK, but I work in Asia. I have a German post office here. Stuff get sent to Germany and they bring it to me in Asia. I Will not be in the UK until November, so it is better to get them here

Got my EX600s a week ago. Have had enough time to evaluate and I have to say sound is very nice. I have a big issue with the fit though. They are a hassle to put in with the ver yhard over ear cables and huge IEM itself.

I am already thinking of selling them only because I do not like the fit.

I would try westone, Im kind of regretting being cheap and buying the westone 2 instead of W3. Because if my W2 is as good as it but also this comfortable and seriously the best cable ever I can only imagine how good the W3. but my 30 days are up.

I am looking at my options again and for some reason CK10s keep popping up.

From my headphone vs. custom IEM review since you love the T1 and are thinking of the SM3:

SM3 vs. Tesla T1:

These two are the furthest apart of everything I compared.  The SM3 is thick, the T1 is lean and cleaner, the SM3 treble quantity low in comparison to the T1 quantity, and the space difference is the largest.  Going from one to the other is a shock either way.  If the T1 sound signature is something that you like, the SM3 probably isn't the IEM for you!   However, if you like the SM3, you might still like what the T1 brings, given a good amp.

SM3

Tesla T1

Thicker, less bright presentation

Better technically across the spectrum

Portable

Much larger soundstage space

Easy to drive

More powerful bass

1/4th the price

Better clarity

GR07 is a little on the boring side to me, but technically it is very good.  How about the RE series, I am going from memory but the RE272 is fairly close in presentation to the Tesla T1, at least for the price range and considering they are IEMs, but I haven't spent much time with them.

I am not thinking about SM3s, they were eliminated some time ago.

I keep reading reviews again and again. I think my only option is to try an buy a pair of CK10s again to see how I like them. When I had them previously I also had a pair of T5ps and CK10s were trumped by them so I dumped them. No I am going totally portable so I am thinking to try CK10s again.

Good can be achieved, but that requires loads of fiddling - I am not ready for that. I need something that I can take out of my ears and put back in within 10 seconds, not 10 minutes.

CK10s can be had for $289 from here: http://www.accessoryjack.com/-strse-618/Audio-dsh-Technica-ATH-dsh-CK10-CK10-Dual/Detail.bok
