thank you for the detail pictures ,i saw some post over the chinese forum say it might be out for china first.don't know when it hit the states.

Which makes me wonder if the 4pin xlr is just the L+ L-, R+ R- wired from the speaker outputs. The amp board looks like it could be balanced(hard to tell from the pic), but I only see one power supply.

The knobs are NOT plastic; they are metal and have very stiff stepped attenuator.  This baby is SS not tube (YES!)  Expected to have ~20W of power if i remembered correctly.
 
I hope by production time, they make the balance out sound as good or better than SE.  I'd be a bit disappointed if SE sounded better.
 
I'm just glad it's SS because, IMO, the HE-6 is meant to be paired with a SS amp, not tube.

Nope, not yet because I came late to the meet.  They are still tweaking with the bass and fixing some other issues so it's not supposed to be in production for another couple months.
