Okay, I recently got a What Hi-Fi? magazine at Borders and in it was a scratch game. So, while it isn't good for me, as I live in the US, it is good for UK residents.

It says "Find the Pharaoh's Treasure" on top, and dosen't seem to be associated with the magazine at all.

Anyone in the UK know if this is a scam type deal or a valid contest? If so, want it?

Here is a dumb Geocities site with the picture on it.

lol, the funniest one that i heard of, was of a company based in Colnbrook (near Heathrow) that had a top prize of £250,000... the winning ticket WAS printed (for legality reasons) but then it was kept in the MD's safe!!

How bad is that!!

I win those scratch games all the time to the point that now I don't bother and chuck them straight in the bin. Why? because you'll have to ring up the £1 per/min number to find out what you've won, and you have to go through all these options to get to what you want and there's a little ad on the phone after every option and you end up spending 15 minutes to find out you've won a mug!

Not that I tried it!
