Beyer T1 Help

Thread Starter

Hey, new audiophile convert here and need some help figuring out these cables and plugs.  Have a Schiit Lyr on the way but if I decide to switch to a balanced amp somewhere down the road, is there a way you can wire the headphones so I can switch between the two?  Figure I'd need an extra bit of cable to convert between the two.

Also, what exactly is a split-mod and what are the benefits of having it done?

Thanks !

Yes we can do an adapter system as seen here:

Split mod means dual entry. The T1 is a dual entry headphone so you dont have to worry about that. So what we need to know is what the main cable length is to be and what length the adapters need to be. This can always be done later to the cable once you get your balanced amp.
