I just got my SoundMagic Pl50s today, from Amazon, for $54.95

http://www.amazon.com/SoundMAGIC-PL50-Isolating-Monitor-Earphones/dp/B004HCBX44

But when I opened the package, the SoundMagic box looked nothing like that in the photos. It's a grey/silverish colour on the outside unlike the purple one that I find everywhere, some info/features on the side and on the inside of the flap that's opened with velcro, theres a picture of a headphone graph I guess which kinda looks out of place. I also don't have the round circular case, instead I got a leather pouch which had the ear clips and two pairs of tips inside. The other tips were with the earphones, on the normal plastic casing. However, the earphones themselves sound very nice, but I don't know enough to say for sure and it might be just the placebo effect.

So I'm just wondering if these are fakes? Being from amazon, I'm only slightly worried haha.

Has anyone got this before? I can get pictures if needed.

I don't see why anyone would create fakes of the PL50s.  They aren't popular in the public (or well known to the public).  When someone fakes a pair of headphones, it's normally a well known brand/style they are trying to replicate.
