A pair of Senn HD545's from 1994/1995. Still work. Still unmistakably Sennheiser's. I use them for computer application. It's not model discussed much on Head-Fi.

Andrew, where did you get the replacement pads for such an old Sony?

Thanks

Radio Shack Pro 60 (They're made by Koss) from around 1986. These were my first "serious" headphones. Before these, I'd use whatever phones came with a walkman.

Circa 1996 Sony MDR-CD60's and they suck...badly. Let's put it this way, iI PREFER the Stock Zen buds to the Sony's. They are THAT bad.

The connection is spotty on the plug end. Just recently, the plastic part connecting the right cup to the headband has broken. The foam over the drivers has deteriorated.

They've been great and I will keep them around and probably fix them by replacing the worn parts, since AKG helpfully supplied a full parts replacement list, but in the meantime I want to try something different and have gone for Grado SR-80's.

Cheers,
Frank
