The most disappointing thing about that thread for me is the lack of support from prominent and experienced members (apart from Armaegis and a handful of others). I had also hoped for it to be an active discussion, with those on the receiving end of good advice coming back to share impressions. Unfortunately, it's often a drive-by affair. Not having a go at the OP, but some of you guys need to acknowledge and be thankful of the effort a small handful are putting in. This is a place where we discuss our hobby... it's not a thankless customer service job.
