Hi all,

I have an iBasso D10 which I mainly use at my work desk for its USB function. The issue I have is that at my desk, I get a lot of RF interference through the D10. I've reached the point where I just want to replace the D10 for another portable amp\DAC that isnt as prone to RF. I did think it might be the USB cable or port in the PC, but I still get the RF when its unplugged with just my earphones plugged in. There is some improvement if I move it around the desk, but thats not really a solution. Funnily enough, when I use it through my laptop at home, even with my mobile resting on the D10, there is no noise. It just seems to be here in the office, where unfortunately I spend most of my day and listening time.

I might even consider a small desktop Amp\DAC for the office, if its well insulated

Any ideas?

I've no experience of the D10, but I had the same issue with the D12, changing the opamps solved the issue for me.

If you've not tried it, it might solve the problem without shelling out on a new amp.

Hi, Is that an easy thing to do? Does it involve soldering?

The D12 came with some alternative opamps. One of them was a dual opamp all i had to do was take the two single opamps out and replace with the dual, however, I'm not sure that the D10 can take dual opamps. HiFlight does a topkit for the D10, might be woth shooting him a pm and asking if any of the opamps in the kit resist interference.

I've not used a topkit, but it seems well regarded.

Thinking about it, the D10 did come with alternative opamaps - I'll have to take a look in the box it came in, see what came with it. Excuse the ignorance - whats a topkit?
