Hi All,
This week we have a lots to talk about!
First we have a review now posted at PLAYBACK by Tom Martin on our Peak and Volcano. About the only thing I would like to add to the review is that the amp is totally tube dependent and we expect those who buy it to NOT use the stock Tung Sol as their main tube. We think there are enough great 6SN7 tubes out there and that every customer will find one very much to his/her liking with the Peak and Volcano...
We also have a preview of an upcoming review of the Peak and Volcano from 6moons.
Wes Phillips will be doing a review of our TTVJ Slim in the next week or so at Inner Fidelity.
And make sure your subscritption to THE ABSOLUTE SOUND is current - our Pinnacle will be reviewed by Dick Olsher in the next issue. Dick takes the Pinnacle on as a preamp! We are very excited about this review!
Coming soon to TTVJAudio - 2 new Apex products! The Apex Arete and the Apex Butte will be available in less than 60 days! We will have pictures and more info very soon. The Arete will be a solid state Class A headphone amp/preamp amp that will also be able to utilize the Volcano power supply or a stock wall wart. The Butte will be our low cost solid state headphone amp with a smaller footprint than the Arete and Peak. We can't wait for you to hear them. Keep an eye on our TTVJ Forum here at Head-Fi for loaner programs and updates on these 2 exciting new products from Apex High Fi Audio. And of course they are designed by Pete Millett!
Also coming very soon is the Luxman DA200. This will be a very good DAC with a class A headphone amp all in one unit. We do not yet have pricing but pictures of the new unit will follow soon. We are getting one here at TTVJAudio in the next week or so and will update as well as give our impressions of it to you.
Also coming soon - The HE-500 from HiFiMan. Keep an eye on our website for updates and to preorder. The HE6 is in stock and ready to ship!
The Audeze LCD-2 headphone is also in stock and shipping from TTVJAudio. We are very pleased to carry this headphone!
And now back in stock the Shuguang CV181-Z Treasure tubes. We only stock the class A rated version! We have been waiting for these for months and now they are here so order away!
