Hi people!

I just wanted to get some opinions on how to go about modding my AKG K430 headphones.  Got these a few weeks ago and have a bit of spare time so I thought I would go about seeing if I could in anyway increase the sound quality of these headphones.  :)

Being a bit new to Audiophilia I am quite happy with these headphones and I am sure you all know these are budget headphones but I want to see what is possible in modding.

I will be doing a recabling later but just now I was thinking about doing the blue tack mod to the inside of the outer case and also removing the glued driver holes and attaching felt to the drivers.  If I understand this properly this will tighten up the bass and increase the clarity of the sound as it is more natural than blocking up the holes?

I have attached pictures so people can make suggestions and if I make any mods I will keep this thread updated.  Would appreciate any advice!

Thanks!
