I usually let armatures burn in for 50 hours and 100 hours for dynamic drivers. Is this enough for testing and such? What numbers should I be using?

Those sound like good figures to me. Many people love to say that BAs don't need burn in (

), but I sure heard a difference before and after I burned in my Triple.fi 10s.

Same here, I hear a little bit of difference with BAD's.

When burning in my Apple IEMs and SuperFi 4s, they both needed 50-75 hours.  My dynamics normally require lots more 100-200 to fully settle in (sometimes more).

Yeah, dynamic's take a lot more time.

I actually did notice a drastic difference with my TF10's from new to ~10 hrs later. I remember being severely dissapointed in how they sounded very congested when I first got them; as I remember others mentioning, some materials in the crossover may actually need to "settle in", where the armatures arent the ones going through changes. It seems to be a group consensus, not mine, so take it for the grain of salt it is
