CD Player that stops upper midrange glare (especially on vocals) with headphones? Thanks! | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

I am open to any suggestions.
Glare on regular CD with older CDs through headphones has always been an issue since the dawn of digital, IMHO.
I am thinking of Meridian 808.3 (or .2), Ayon CD5, Esoteric K-series, or an APL player.
