After receiving a green light to publish what I had done with my dac I want to share here my successfull experience
first I changed the t1 headphone connector to two femal xlr
connector (each one for left and right channels) after this
change I connected the t1 "directely" to the ballanced audio
outputs of the dac v800
the volume was controlled by means of the "digital potentiometer at the front pannel of the dac
the results : I could believe my ears what was the pure music
comming to my ears
without an extra amp no added thd nor degradation of crosstoalk no added noise no change in dynamics and for
damping the sub ohm output impedance gives a factor
greater than 600 ! (it enough for me)
all the controvers about cuting bits (to control\ volume)
were wrong and the music spectrum was as must be
natural transparent no music blur every bit of music
converted in real music
before i performed this test I did not expect much but the
result were thrully amazing
Mr Fried (ceo of violectric/Lake people) told me that I am
the first person that had done such test
I do not like hearing music to loud and the power comming
out from the dac its enough ,I was told that if i wanted more
power could just change the internal gain of the dac but
by the moment it is no necessary
for the first time i hear the best of t1 thantks to the nice
internal powerfull driver of the v800
the ballanced output can give up to 32 vpp and this big
amplitued can controll the t1 for the best
as for music choises during my test the beatifull last album
of Keiko Matsui called "the road"
and many soundtracks inception' the last dragon (hans zimer)
also many female and male vocalist ela krell gilberto gil
and many more
