Okay so I know that music should sound as its intended to be without the addition of a equalizer preset, but to me, it sounds better with equalizer presets.

So I just switched to Foobar with Wasapi, and I really like Foobar better, but the only thing I don't like is a feature iTunes offers.  iTunes offers you the choice to set a certain EQ preset for each individual song in your library, which is a good thing to have if you don't want to switch the EQ preset in Foobar everytime a different genre plays.

I was wondering if theres any to set an EQ preset to a certain song, artist, album, anything.

Is there actually a big difference between iTunes and Foobar? I like Foobar because

1. Wasapi
2. Can play FLAC
3. Can customize its appearance (made it look very nice compared to iTunes' plain layout)

Or is there any way to change iTunes layout?

OR are there any other good music players? I've tried Winamp but prefer Foobar or iTunes over it.

How do I use VST? I know how to install it into Foobar, but do I do anything else? I'm not sure what it is haha

first enable it in the foobar preferences under playback/dsp
you'll need to install electri-q as its instructions as well.. which im pretty sure is the same as the vst, which is dropping the dll file into your components folder

then go to your task/tray bar thing inn the lower right corner of your screen, and right click on the littl VST logo...
and navigate to enabling electri-q..

thats the uber simple version.. any more than that and you're gonna have to ask someone else...  its been too long since i've set all that up to remember.. and I'm lazy...

You should use this VST component instead http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=84947 . It is newer and better implemented IMO.
