Nope, no experience with the CK4 except looking at pictures of it.  I did have the 601 for a while which was very musical from the headphone out with some of my headphones, and while an iPhone can synergize with some IEMs, you can usually do much better.

From here.

^ I had the same issue with my earphones too, after extended period it gave me neck pain. Eventually, I had to send it back for remold.

Did you send it back for remold? If so I sure hope that you can get it back soon, the earphone is really a breakthrough, with its 5 way crossover and 5 bores.

I didn't send them back for a remold because of issues with someone else from the US sending theirs back. Grzegorz is going to recitfy the situation by me a replacement pair first, but he can't send it from Poland.

And I have the review primarily done but do need to proof it and was waiting for the replacement.  It is a breakthrough IMO in sound as well as design...

^ It would also be a breakthrough in terms of price, counting in the cost for shipping.

I remember you mentioned that not everyone can have this earphone, is it due to the price or availability or is it because of the 5 bores that require the nozzle to be bigger?

The 5-way is limited as it won't fit in smaller ears.  People that are interested need to send in ear impressions first and Grzegorz will check the size of primarily the bores for the canal but also all the shell components.  In addition the 5-way is now shipping restricted but I am not sure where Grzegorz will ship at the moment.  I know the US is out.

Don't be sad;
It is possible to ship it to the us if u have a friend within the EU who is willing to receive it for you. He can then reship it to the states as gift.

And

You probably have ears large enough for the 5 way, cos you are white guy :D
Just photo your impressions on a grid paper and send it to spiral ears email..
They will let you know if 5 way will fit your ears.

Btw, I'm Asian and I sent my photos already; just waiting for the reply.

Since the seems to be a renewed interest in the 5-way (I have been getting quite a few PMs) I have rewritten my evaluation of the marketing writeup of the 5-way from Spiral Ear, which can be found in the first post.  Of course that still leaves some questions since it is not my full review, but you can read how the 5-way compares with the SA-43, JH16 and UERM.

I do have a fit issue with the 5-way which results in discomfort after about an hour and after a few hours I want to get them out of my ears even though they sound fantastic.  However, Grzegorz thinks the 5-way can sound better than I described it in my review writeup so I am awaiting a refit, but due to issues with the Polish customs office there have been delays.

The interest in Denmark on our own little headfi site is getting bigger too, because the 2 members have bought the SE5, and i just strayed away from them.

But i guess it was better to do so, as my ears are small and i would think the 2 soundtubes my Starkey uses are better in my case, because my ear canals are very narrow also. And getting so many tubes aligned wrong will decrease the intended sound quality of Grzegorz construction, but your reveiw now got us some information we wouldent have got elsewhere at this moment...

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for sharing the information, do you have a link?  And while the 5-way is magnificent, the SA-43 is an excellent option IMO.

It was a nice read. This might not be really related but I will ask anyway, how is the volume control on the HM 801 without the GAME amp?

Does it get too loud even at low volume level with sensitive monitors like SE 5 way, JH 16, EM3Pro, and etc? I just received the 602 and it is so hard to control the volume, it got too loud even at volume level 2.

Should be fine, I guess, because all they have to do is attach the wires...
The problem is that the customs might detain the package due to expensive wire/bomb threat? (Polish customs are mysterious)
